What it is

Respite is not a luxury.

Caring for someone you love is one of the most demanding things a person can do, and many carers go years without a real break. Respite is a recognised NDIS support that protects the health of carers and, through them, the quality of life of the people they support.

Our workers do more than keep participants safe while carers are away. They keep routines going, show real interest and give families the confidence to actually switch off.

Who it's for

  • Family carers who need planned time away, or an urgent break
  • Participants who enjoy a change of scenery and new people
  • Families managing a crisis, home repairs or travel
  • Carers whose own health needs attention
What's included

Every family is different. So is our respite.

In-home respite

A trained support worker comes to your home. The participant stays in their own space with familiar routines while the carer takes time away. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Short Term Accommodation (STA)

A supported, staffed stay away from home, funded for up to 28 days per year under a standard NDIS plan. Suits longer carer breaks, holidays or when the home needs work.

Planned & emergency respite

Book ahead for holidays and regular breaks, or call us when life happens suddenly. We work quickly to put support in place.

Have a chat

Tell us the participant's routine, needs and interests, and what kind of break the carer needs.

Match and plan

Switch off, properly

Support runs to plan, and you get updates at whatever level gives you peace of mind.

Common questions

What carers ask us first.

Can respite happen at short notice?
Yes. Emergency respite is part of what we do. Contact us and we will work quickly to put safe support in place.
How is respite funded?
In-home respite is generally funded through Core Supports, and Short Term Accommodation covers up to 28 days per year under a standard plan. We help you understand what your plan allows.
Will the participant's routine be kept?
Yes. We plan respite around the routines that matter: meals, medication, sleep, activities and the little things that make the person comfortable.

When did you last have a real break?

Talk to us about planned or emergency respite. We will make it easy to say yes to some rest.
